  • As the founder and CEO of Mandalay Entertainment, a visionary multimedia venture spanning film, television, sports, and new media, Peter Guber is one of today’s most successful executives and entrepreneurs. Also a New York Timesbest-selling author, his book, Tell to Win: Connect, Persuade, and Triumph with the Hidden Power of Story, was listed byFortune magazine as one of the "5 Business Books You Can Really Use" and by American Express’s OPEN Forum as one of the "Best Business Books of 2011."

    From Rain Man to The Color Purple andFlashdance, the iconic films of Mandalay Entertainment have earned over $3 billion worldwide and garnered more than 50 Academy Award nominations. Prior to his work at Mandalay, Guber led several prominent entertainment industry brands, including Sony Pictures as chairman and CEO, Columbia Pictures as president, and Polygram as chairman and CEO. Peter is also the owner and co-executive Chairman of the NBA franchise the Golden State Warriors. 

    One of today’s most respected business leaders, Guber works as a passionate, humorous, and tireless motivator, and is dedicated to empowering current and future leaders to propel their businesses forward. A full professor at the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television for nearly four decades, he emphasizes the power of oral narrative and storytelling to create an emotional connection to business, and in 2007, he published the landmark Harvard Business Review cover article, "The Four Truths of the Storyteller."
